Project Summary

What began as a simple brief for “a new modern kitchen” evolved into a complete transformation of the heart of the home. Our clients’ original 35-year-old kitchen no longer suited the way they lived, with an impractical pantry layout and a dated feel that left the space lacking both function and light. The renovation introduced beautiful white cabinetry with a timeless Hamptons profile, paired with soft marble-look benchtops and a striking navy Kit Kat tile splashback to create a refined yet welcoming aesthetic. One of the most impactful changes was reimagining an old window — once the back of the house with a redundant brick ledge overlooking the extended lounge room — into a functional servery that now better connects the spaces. To further enhance functionality, the adjoining underutilised powder room was cleverly converted into a butler’s pantry complete with a dedicated coffee station, giving the kitchen additional storage and practicality without compromising on style. The result is a bright, elevated space that feels both modern and highly considered — and as our clients shared, “we just wanted a new modern kitchen, but we wouldn’t have got what we did without you.”
