A larger area was required by this client who loves to cook.
The challenge for the designer, Barry Ternes, was how to incorporate long island bench and a Gagenau 1200 cooktop unit. Space was gained by knocking down a wall and claiming the adjacent bathroom – which had previously been relocated by All City.
The 2 pac cabinetry was contrasted with grey-blue walls and highlighted by a red spash-back and 3 pendant lights over the island bench which provides ample room for informal meals and family disclosure.
